| Here a little bit about us | ||
|
Our
house was built in 1960 and since 1963 it ran as a restaurant. Through the years
it was converted to a guesthouse and has continued to be built up and modernized.
Today our house has 8 double rooms complete with showers, toilets, balconies,
satellite television and telephones. |

Until the year 1990, our business was managed by Ida and Alois Kager. After Alois’ death, Ida and her daughter Andrea took over the exclusive care of their guests. After her marriage, Andrea and her husband Erwin Glatz took over the management of the house while grandmother Ida cared for their guests. Our kitchen offers you a rich selection of international and regional foods which you can eat in our dinning room or in our rustic solar terrace. We of course will also take care of the well-being of our “little guests”. | |

Since
1994 the municipal office of Puchegg is located in our house where the local
council meetings are often held. Not far from our pension our local authority
constructed a cross in memory of Archduke Johann from which the name of our
house, “Erzherzog Johnn Höhe”, is derived. You will find this place about a
10 minute walk from our pension. At
our house we care about the YOUNG and OLD alike. For our seniors, a
“stair-chair-lift” is available which will bring you comfortably up to your
room on the first floor. For the children there is a play area available. If
needed we can pick up out guests at the Rohrbach/Vorau train station and also
bring them back for their return trip. |

For the more active people there is a variety of entertainment available. In our village we have an open-air swimming pool, hiking trails, tennis courts, a regional museum and an open-air museum. Our village also offers sight- seeing trips to the surrounding vicinities and beyond. Winter sport activities are also quick and easy to reach. Or do you just want some peace and quiet? With us it’s no problem. Relax in our newly built solar terrace or just enjoy the wonderful view and let our personnel pamper you. |

would you like to go shopping? Even
better! In our village there are shopping possibilities at your disposal or you
can take a trip to Hartberg where you can satisfy your shopping pleasure with
even more possibilities. With
particular pleasure we take orders and reservations for weddings, birthdays,
baptisms or other ceremonies. For a given date and time we will carefully put
together an arranged menu for you to enjoy. |
